Fee Models
How We Charge
Different legal matters suit different fee models. We choose the most fair and transparent structure for each type of case.
Fixed Fee
A single agreed price for the entire matter. You know your total cost before we start. Common for wills, uncontested divorces, and protection orders.
Hourly Rate
Professional time billed at an agreed hourly rate. Used for complex litigation, contested matters, and ongoing advisory work. From R1,200/hr.
Contingency
No upfront fees — we only charge if we win. Applies exclusively to Road Accident Fund claims. Success fee capped at 25% by law.
Percentage-Based
Fees calculated as a percentage of the value involved. Used for estate administration in line with the statutory tariff (3.5% of estate value).

Administration of Estates

Fees are calculated as a percentage of the gross value of the deceased estate, in line with the Insolvency Act tariff.

Road Accident Fund Claims

RAF claims are handled on a contingency basis — you pay nothing unless we win. Our success fee is capped at 25% as required by law.
